Mariah Dylla Gardiner Has certainly had an impressive law career. A member of both the Utah, Colorado Bars, El Paso County and Douglas County (Colorado) Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, Mariah is an excellent attorney with a great reputation. After law school at the University of Utah, Mariah also clerked for an administrative law judge in the U.S. Department of the Interior. At various times, she has worked closely with attorneys in felony and appellate matters and she has taken on a great many very complex and exciting constitutional defense issues.

Her experience is extensive, as Mariah Dylla Gardiner has handled cases in many courts, including both the Utah and U.S. Supreme Courts. Her trial experience includes both sides of a great many cases, including the defense and the prosecution. She gained much of that experience as an Assistant District Attorney in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, as well as in her own private defense practice. Mariah Dylla Gardiner has a lot of education to draw upon. When she was still in high school, she published an article for the prestigious Concord Review entitled “Criminal Justice.” She then earned an undergraduate degree in French from Portland State University, cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor from the S.J. Quinney College of Law from the University of Utah. While there, she also received the Frankel Public Interest Fellowship.

She also has advocated for women’s rights in various parts of the developing world. She has rapporteur status to the United Nation and she has conducted research and written on issues regarding post-colonial feminism in West Africa. Mariah Dylla has a large range of experience during her law career.
